Welcome to keto meals and recipes dot com Today I'll be making a Mediterranean recipe that is sure to impress your family and friends because they will be treated to an extraordinarily flavorful and aromatic main course, and after I've shown you how to make the chicken marsala recipe, I will show you how I prepared the two-cheese butter zoodles to complement and complete the dinner

As you can see, this dinner looks as if it would have been an Involved and complex recipe I assure you this is a very easy and relatively quick recipe to make This keto chicken marsala is one of our favorite recipes, and I'm proud to share it with you today The macronutrient ratio for this recipe is 28 to 1 with 9

3 grams of total carbs, 1 gram of soluble fiber, 38 grams of insoluble fiber, resulting in only 4 point 6 grams of net carbs for the keto chicken marsala portion of the recipe The first thing you have to do in preparing to make this recipe is to butterfly the chicken I find it easy to butterfly when I place my flat hand over the surface of the chicken breast then cut through the center, trying to make each of the two fillets as even as possible Then get a long strip of cling wrap, then place one of the fillets in the middle and fold over the cling wrap to cover, then starting at the thickest part, gently pound at that part

What you're trying to do is to make the fillet an even thickness of about a quarter-inch This will make frying the fillets easier and more even Repeat for all of the chicken fillets, and when you're done pounding them, place them on a platter Assemble all your ingredients Having everything pre-measured and assembled makes the entire cooking process much easier

I began by putting the oat fiber onto a flat plate, and then just giving the plate a little jiggle to spread out the fiber more evenly Make sure to pat dry the filleted chicken and then sprinkle with ground pepper and salt, but don't over season at this point If you don't want to use the oat fiber, this coating can easily be substituted with unflavored whey protein isolate or even coconut flour However, I'd like to mention that coconut flour will change the flavor of your finished chicken marsala Coat the filet with the oat fiber, or whatever else you may choose to use instead, and press down gently

Flip the meat and coat the other side very well After dusting with the oat fiber, place the coated chicken fillets to the side and repeat with the rest of the pieces By now you know the drill: pre-heat your dry skillet until it's hot and then pour the oil and add the unsalted butter or ghee Stir until the butter is completely melted and well-combined with the oil In this recipe, I have chosen to use olive oil because it creates a more authentic flavor, but you can substitute with grapeseed or avocado oil

I'd like to mention when you add the butter to the olive oil it helps to improve the smoke point of olive oil, so on occasion when I want a particular flavor I do use olive oil When your oil butter mixture is sizzling, lay the coated chicken fillets flat in your sizzling oil and butter mixture, arranged so the fillets are well-spaced and not crowded Fry for about 2 minutes on each side You want the chicken to have a deep golden, but light crust Remove the chicken fillets from your skillet when both the sides are done

Place them on a platter and set aside for a moment Add a second batch of butter to the same skillet you just pan fried the chicken in When the butter is melted toss in the finely chopped onions and grated garlic, and stir Fry for about one minute, so the onions are just starting to become translucent Add the lemon juice, stir and scrape the bottom of the pan

This will remove the fond and incorporate it into the sauce Next, add the dry version of the Marsala wine You can see my pan is very hot, and almost as soon as I added the wine it steamed, which is indicating the volatile alcohol molecules are evaporating Now stir for a minute or two so that the alcohol can completely evaporate, then add all the cut button mushrooms to your pan Gently spread out the mushrooms and then leave them alone for about 2 to 3 minutes to cook

This will allow the water in the mushrooms to also evaporate Then, with your spatula, turn over the mushrooms and cook the other side for a couple minutes or so You will notice that the mushrooms have reduced in size and that most of the liquid sauce has been absorbed by the mushrooms Toss gently and cook until both sides of the mushrooms are done to a medium brown stage The time needed to brown your mushrooms will depend on how thickly you cut your mushrooms

It took my mushrooms about five minutes to brown completely Next pour the chicken stock into the pan and stir well Immediately after stirring, add the heavy cream Stir and combine for five minutes to get rid of the raw cream taste and for all the flavors to combine The last part of the chicken marsala prep is to add most of your roughly chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley

Stir and cook for a couple minutes, and then place the prepared chicken fillets over the sauce Cook for one more minute and flip the chicken so the other side will also have about 30 seconds to absorb and be coated with the sauce Turn your stove top element off, because now you're done cooking the chicken marsala While still very hot I plate the chicken on a serving platter Scoop out and evenly distribute the mushrooms and the sauce

Make sure you scrape out all the sauce and pour it over the chicken I can't stress enough how good the sauce is and you won't want to waste any of it by leaving it in the pan For presentation purposes I take the reserved Italian flat-leaf parsley and place a few leaves on top, Now, as I promised, I will show you how to make my two cheese pan zoodles Start with a clean dry skillet When the skillet is hot, add your butter

To the melted butter, I added my zoodles and cooked them over medium heat First, I grated some fresh parmesiano reggiano cheese over the zoodles Then I grated my full fat mozzarella and put that on top as well With my tongs, I simply move the zoodles about to incorporate the cheese I cook the zoodles from start to finish for only five minutes

I want the zoodles to be a bit al dente – that means that the zoodles are cooked enough that they don't taste raw, but they do maintain their texture and shape You definitely don't want your zoodles to be overcooked and soggy To complete and serve the meal, I placed one portion of my zoodles onto a plate and placed one of the chicken marsala fillets on top I scooped out and arranged about a quarter of the mushrooms over the chicken and also scooped up some of the sauce To finish a beautiful presentation, take a napkin or paper towel and clean any drippings or smudges on the edge of the plate

KETO MEAL PREP FOR WEIGHT LOSS (KETO CHILI & COBB SALAD)

hi guys it's Keila (Kay-la) I am back with another video today is a long awaited Mill prep I've gotten so many messages saying you guys want another Mill prep and lately I'm not even gonna lie I have been lazy with my male preps so I wanted to show you some easy meals that honestly anyone can do the first meal is going to be a chili if you guys want to know the four recipes I'll make sure to leave them in the description box below that way you can easily screenshot it before going to the grocery store first before we make the chili I am going to be making a dried chili seasoning mix that you can use whenever you want and this isn't specifically for chili you can use this as your taco seasoning you can use it to flavor chicken whatever you want to use it for feel free to use it I use it for chili just because it's easy and I don't have to buy the package I'm starting off with some chili powder then we have cayenne pepper paprika onion powder garlic powder pepper and cumin add some salt the secret ingredient is about 1/4 of a teaspoon of cinnamon I'm telling you guys if you remember eating cinnamon rolls with chili it kind of is that concept so it just is perfect I'm actually using the cul sri pressure-cooker hopefully i'm saying that right i'll leave all the information down below they were nice enough to send it to me so I wanted to give it a try and the reason why I wanted to do this with Chile because I usually cook Chile in a slow cooker and it's so annoying having to brown the ground be first before adding it into the slow cooker so with a pressure cooker you can do literally all the steps in one so it just made my life so much easier I need all the easy I can get usually I use the 90 percent lean ground beef and ten percent fat and add my own oil and because I like using avocado oil but this is all that I had at the time so I just used what I had and it worked perfectly I'm cooking this off and I'm adding a big spoonful of garlic I'm obsessed with garlic so you can add as much or as little as you'd like and once it's cooked completely I'm adding in the veggies I'm using one whole green bell pepper and half of a medium onion both of these are chopped once all that is combined you are going to add about two tablespoons of your seasoning that you made earlier once you add the seasoning make sure you combine it and then we are going to be using one can of chopped tomatoes now I normally use a can of tomato sauce but I wanted to actually see how it would be using water in place of the tomato sauce because I wanted it to be as little harm as possible because I do know people here are on a strict strict keto diet I'm not as strict as I used to be because I am close to my goal but I do want to have good keto meals that are great on macros for you guys and honestly adding the can of water I couldn't even tell that I'd add the can of tomato sauce so I think I'm gonna start doing that more often anyway because if I can put up some cards without even realizing it i'ma do it another secret ingredient is black soy beans I promise you you won't be able to tell that you don't have black beans in this chili but it will still have a hearty it feeling I can't have my chili without beans I'm so happy that I found a replacement that has one net carb per serving this is around the time that I added a third tablespoon of the chili seasoning now for this recipe I actually only used half the amount of salt that they recommended and I wish I would have used the full amount but I ended up just adding salt into the final product while I was cooking so you can do that a few what but I highly advise to use I believe hose a full tablespoon I only used half because I got lazy with grinding it I know and I actually had some trouble with my pressure cooker I'm not sure if I just didn't know how to use it but it was acting up I had to keep unplugging it and plugging it back I don't know if that was me and not knowing how to use it or the actual product I ended up using the chili setting which had it cooked I believe for 20 and 30 minutes and it came out perfectly so it turned out completely finished how to unplug it and plug it back in a couple of times so I think that was an error in my inability to figure out electronics apparently or it's not even an electronic appliance that's an appliance yeah so once your chili is cooled slightly I put it in containers and I'm actually using glass containers for chili because chili and the oil gets seeped into the plastic so that's just a little tip for you guys don't make the same mistake that I make all the time get some glass containers for your chili and I'm just going to be adding a serving of cheese and this chili I was actually going to eat after I filmed so that's why that one already has some cheese in it I'm next moving on to our salads I try I'm really trying to have a salad a day which means I make sure to try to meal prep salads so that way I'm kind of forced to eat them so for me sometimes I don't feel like a salad so I actually have two different types of salads that I'm going to be eating this week the first one will be the traditional cold salad so for this salad we're gonna go ahead and start with the chickens and that's gonna take the longest to cook I just have some boneless skinless chicken thighs and you can always have the bone-in skin-on that is great for extra flavor extra flap packed but for me I'm too lazy to deal with all that so I just get the boneless skinless it's cheap easy and readily available for me I'm just seasoning this with you know my seasonings of choice I have some garlic powder salt pepper cayenne pepper you can use any seasonings that you have on deck anything work for this salad and I'm just placing this in a 375-degree oven for 15 minutes to start and then I'm going to flip it and then cook it for an additional 15 minutes once that's cooled I just put that in a separate container I like to assemble my salads when I actually eat it so that is why I'm not actually cutting up all the ingredients and putting it in the salad I feel like that helps it taste better and it preserves the freshness of the greens a lot longer if you do that look at this spring mix that will have all the toppings on it I have some cucumbers I have tomatoes avocados some cheese crisps these ones are the parmesan I also boiled some eggs for the salads as well as just a grabbing those snack or just the start of a breakfast the cooked chicken that you saw earlier and bacon bits you can't have a salad without bacon bits and my dressing of choice for this one was the Marie's chipotle ranch it actually is not my favorite so if you guys have any suggestions for ranches I just can't get it right all the ranches that I've been buying lately I have not been liking so please help you girl out let me know your favorites in the comments down below so for the second salad it's not really a salad it's kind of like a saute I have spinach and this is a quick way to make sure you have something easy to throw in the skillet I'm actually just picking this up with about a tablespoon of butter and a little bit of garlic and then I'm adding my spinach in it we'll turn that down adding my seasonings of choice and I just kept it simple with some salt and pepper once that's finished salt painting I added the chicken into it and kind of just mixed it up just to warm up the chicken since I did take it out from the fridge I usually alternate between these three sauces today I was actually feeling like barbecue sauce and this barbecue sauce is actually a little bit higher in carbs but I actually do not like the sugar-free ones that I've tried and I'm not willing to sacrifice flavor over carbs so I just a lot of the grams of carbs in there and I usually only use half of the serving so I believe it's only three grams of carbs for the barbecue sauce that I'm using also if you guys know any good barbecue sauces you know what to do leave them down below because I really need it but honestly I just been making this work sometimes if I want a little bit of spice I add sriracha or some hot sauce and that is a simple quick easy meal um if you want a little bit more fat in this meal since it is kind of low in fat because there's only a tablespoon you can add some avocado you can also add cheese to this I load up on the cheese for the chili yeah I mean so I make sure to get my fat in there this saute I got to be a little skimpy on my fat yeah I mean and there you have it simple easy KETOGENIC DIET Meal Plan – 7 DAY FULL MEAL PLAN for Beginners

– Guys, I cannot believe the amount of positive responses that I got back from the past three meal prepping videos It just absolutely blows me away

So thank you so much This video today is for you guys I'm gonna take it up an extra notch and I'm going to provide you something really special Today is a complete seven-day meal plan that comes with all the calories, all the macros planned down, all of the recipes and the entire shopping list that you need to get started I'm going to show you how to make all of the recipes for the meal plan right now, with the exception of bacon and eggs because I'm pretty sure you already know how to make bacon and eggs

I'll give you that one And stick around till the end of the video because that's where I'm gonna share with you how to actually get the meal plan and all of things that are included in this video So, let's get started (light music) So we're gonna start with some buttery steak and broccoli So, grab a head of broccoli and cut up all the florets off the actual broccoli head

Put them to the side and you're going to steam them for about 10 to 15 minutes just until they are tender Place them on a plate and then we're gonna get started with the steak So you're gonna salt both sides of the steak Be very liberal with the salt Don't be scared of the salt especially on the ketogenic diet

And you're gonna heat up a frying pan to very hot And then place it in and we're gonna sizzle it for about two or three minutes each side When you flip it, place the butter in and put some rosemary over the top and just start spooning the butter over the steak It is going to taste absolutely delicious and the rosemary gives it a really, really nice flavor (light music) So now we're gonna move on to the scrambled eggs with avocado

So you're gonna crack three eggs into a bowl and mix it around with what I call this magic whisk here I have put the link to this in the description below You're gonna add some salt and pepper and you're gonna cut up half an avocado by simply going around the outside of the seed and heating up a frying pan, putting some butter into the frying pan, about a tablespoon and putting all of the eggs that you whisked up just before Now, it's going to be very, very quick and you're going to just move it around slightly and remove the eggs when they are still a little bit gooey Now, you can cut the avocado up however you like but this is just a fantastic meal for breakfast and it's really, really nutritious

So this is a lamb chop and we're gonna make a feta salad with this as well So do exactly the same as you would with the steak with the lamb chop and add some rosemary over the top and spoon the butter as you go It really is the best way to cook any style of meat in the frying pan And you wanna keep all of the juices with it Now, get about a cup of spinach and you're just gonna crumble some either Danish or Greek feta over the top and get some olive oil in there with some salt and pepper and mix it all together

(light music) Now, I'm not sure whether you've steamed chicken before but this is a really simple way to do it And you can cook all of your green veggies at the same time So you just mash it out with a meat tenderizer in between two bits of baking paper there so it's really nice and thin So this is bok choy and you just wanna cut the ends off it and wash the inside because it tends to build up a lot of dirt on the inside Now, take a stick of ginger and the actual recipe calls for shallots but I'm using basil today, whatever you want

But this is a trick to chop basil without bruising it You wanna roll it up and then slice it like you would anything else Add plenty of sesame seed oil in there and mix it all around This is going to go on top of the chicken once it's done steaming So you wanna steam it in there for about five minutes each side and put the Asian greens on top of it

And so, look at that It's fantastic It comes out really, really juicy and you serve it with the Asian greens that have been steamed there and also the sauce that you made on top (light music) So for breakfast, you're gonna start off with an avocado smoothie which is basically a cup of spinach, a cup of almond milk, two tablespoons of chia seeds, some ginger which contrasts nicely with the avocado, half an avocado and a tablespoon of coconut oil And so you're gonna put some ice in there as well if you desire but it's up to you

Blend that until it's really, really well mixed together You pour that into a cup and drink that for breakfast and it's delicious Bunless cheeseburgers are really easy to make Now, with beef patties you wanna push the inside of the beef patty down so that when you're cooking it, it doesn't become raw on the inside And you're gonna put some cheese on it when you flip it over

We're just gonna cut up some onions and a little bit of tomato as well And you've got a leaf of an iceberg lettuce Now, these are perfect because you just put all of the ingredients inside so you've got some mustard there You put the beef patty with the melted cheese on top and a little bit more mustard and some tomato and onion Wrap that all up and it seriously tastes like the best cheeseburger you've ever had

And if you're using good quality meat, this is really healthy for you (light music) Throw out the taco seasoning because tacos are basically a mix of paprika and cumin And if you get those two right, you can make mints taste really, really good Now, the trick with using iceberg lettuce is to cut it from the stalk like I did just then and then slice the end floppy bits off so you've got a really nice shell And you're just gonna spoon that mint into there, add some tomato and a little bit of shredded cheese and some sour cream in there and you have a perfect taco

(light music) Cobb salads are really delicious and all you need to do is cook up some bacon, also boil an egg and you're going to cut up some lettuce and put that into a bowl I'm using iceberg lettuce but you can use romaine lettuce if you like Some cherry tomatoes in there Using the bacon that you've previously cooked, push with the back of your knife, don't ever use the blade of your knife to get anything off a chopping board You wanna have some cheese in there

And you wanna cut the egg so it's nice and runny and that's a perfect Cobb salad that's really, really delicious Sesame beef coleslaw or otherwise known as crack slaw is basically just some mints, some coleslaw mix, some vinegar, some soy sauce, some sriracha sauce and a whole bunch of sesame seed oil And you're just going to cook all of that down until the coleslaw has become quite soft and you're gonna add some sesame seeds in there Eat it for dinner and store some for tomorrow's lunch as well It's a really delicious meal

(light music) Now, rib eye with Brussels sprouts is probably one of my favorite dinners You're just gonna cut up a whole bunch of Brussels sprouts, add some paprika and any kind of herbs you want in there with some olive oil And you're going to bake that for about 20 minutes in the oven and they come out super crispy So you're gonna have that with your rib eye steak And you just cook the rib eye steak exactly how I told you in the previous section of this video

What to Eat on Ketogenic Diet for Weight Loss – Meal Plan

So maybe you've started on the Keto diet but you are not seeing the results you expected In this video, I'm going to be giving you my top tips on what to eat for weight loss on the Keto diet

Lets go So the first thing you want to do is try and find low-carb alternatives to the really common carby foods that we eat like rice, pasta, breads, biscuits The most common one would be cauliflower rice, every one has kinda heard of that, but there's actually a lot of different vegetables rices that you can try and I would really recommend doing some research because some of them have fantastic nutritional profiles The second thing you're going to want to do is eat plenty of nutrient-dense fats, like grass-fed butter, really good quality olive oil and coconut oil and avocados Stay away from the heavily refined oils and butters

They do not allow your liver to function properly – they clog it all up, which is bad because that is where the 6 fat burning hormones are produced So some really great examples of food you want to eat on Keto are calciferous vegetables, I'm talking kale, cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts There is an amazing recipe for cauliflower wraps that I'm going to link down below It is a great substitute, really easy to make and it will help you miss carbs just that little bit less As for the foods not to eat, well, the list is quite extensive

So we know not to eat carbs, we've been over that, but there are several other things you should bear in mind So when trying to pick healthy foods on the Keto diet you want to bear a few things in mind One of them is that you don't want to spike your insulin levels more than what you have to Every time you eat you will spike your insulin levels but you want to try and maintain that and keep it low and that's why we do intermittent fasting, but that's for another video So foods you want to try and avoid are starchy foods like potatoes, very much sweet potatoes, fruit, yoghurt, milk, beans – anything like that

I know that each of those foods sound healthy on their own and they are, a lot of them have really great nutritional properties but sadly they also score high on the glycaemic index which means you're going to end up with a massive spike in insulin – and that is a huge no-no When you have a spike in insulin, when these things are converted really quickly into sugar, you end up putting the fat burning process on hold anywhere in between 24 hours and 72 That is a huge no-no on Keto! When first starting out on Keto it may seem like your options are limited, and I know it can come across like that But with a little bit of research, I honestly, I can tell you right now, you can find a substitute for just about anything And I have some of my own that I will be doing in another video

APRIL 2018 KETO MEAL -KETOGENIC DIET 2018 – KETO-EGG FAST WEEK

hey guys I made me some egg scampi soup or pasta type thing with boiled eggs i boiled the eggs then I had some fresh garlic puree to my Cuisinart and some chopped up tomatoes in mushroom with the garlic onion butter sauce and I put some fresh lemon juice on top that's the base of a authentic scampi you can get it cream or the butter garlic sauce so I made a butter garlic sauce and I'm about to put some more of this garlic pepper and chili spice in it and then I'm going to put because I keep look at that beautiful this salt inside of my little container so it was easy to scoop out so I'm about to eat this and then I'm done for the day

KETOGENIC DIET Meal Plan – 7 DAY FULL MEAL PLAN for Beginners

– Guys, I cannot believe the amount of positive responses that I got back from the past three meal prepping videos It just absolutely blows me away

So thank you so much This video today is for you guys I'm gonna take it up an extra notch and I'm going to provide you something really special Today is a complete seven-day meal plan that comes with all the calories, all the macros planned down, all of the recipes and the entire shopping list that you need to get started I'm going to show you how to make all of the recipes for the meal plan right now, with the exception of bacon and eggs because I'm pretty sure you already know how to make bacon and eggs

I'll give you that one And stick around till the end of the video because that's where I'm gonna share with you how to actually get the meal plan and all of things that are included in this video So, let's get started (light music) So we're gonna start with some buttery steak and broccoli So, grab a head of broccoli and cut up all the florets off the actual broccoli head

Put them to the side and you're going to steam them for about 10 to 15 minutes just until they are tender Place them on a plate and then we're gonna get started with the steak So you're gonna salt both sides of the steak Be very liberal with the salt Don't be scared of the salt especially on the ketogenic diet

And you're gonna heat up a frying pan to very hot And then place it in and we're gonna sizzle it for about two or three minutes each side When you flip it, place the butter in and put some rosemary over the top and just start spooning the butter over the steak It is going to taste absolutely delicious and the rosemary gives it a really, really nice flavor (light music) So now we're gonna move on to the scrambled eggs with avocado

So you're gonna crack three eggs into a bowl and mix it around with what I call this magic whisk here I have put the link to this in the description below You're gonna add some salt and pepper and you're gonna cut up half an avocado by simply going around the outside of the seed and heating up a frying pan, putting some butter into the frying pan, about a tablespoon and putting all of the eggs that you whisked up just before Now, it's going to be very, very quick and you're going to just move it around slightly and remove the eggs when they are still a little bit gooey Now, you can cut the avocado up however you like but this is just a fantastic meal for breakfast and it's really, really nutritious

So this is a lamb chop and we're gonna make a feta salad with this as well So do exactly the same as you would with the steak with the lamb chop and add some rosemary over the top and spoon the butter as you go It really is the best way to cook any style of meat in the frying pan And you wanna keep all of the juices with it Now, get about a cup of spinach and you're just gonna crumble some either Danish or Greek feta over the top and get some olive oil in there with some salt and pepper and mix it all together

(light music) Now, I'm not sure whether you've steamed chicken before but this is a really simple way to do it And you can cook all of your green veggies at the same time So you just mash it out with a meat tenderizer in between two bits of baking paper there so it's really nice and thin So this is bok choy and you just wanna cut the ends off it and wash the inside because it tends to build up a lot of dirt on the inside Now, take a stick of ginger and the actual recipe calls for shallots but I'm using basil today, whatever you want

But this is a trick to chop basil without bruising it You wanna roll it up and then slice it like you would anything else Add plenty of sesame seed oil in there and mix it all around This is going to go on top of the chicken once it's done steaming So you wanna steam it in there for about five minutes each side and put the Asian greens on top of it

And so, look at that It's fantastic It comes out really, really juicy and you serve it with the Asian greens that have been steamed there and also the sauce that you made on top (light music) So for breakfast, you're gonna start off with an avocado smoothie which is basically a cup of spinach, a cup of almond milk, two tablespoons of chia seeds, some ginger which contrasts nicely with the avocado, half an avocado and a tablespoon of coconut oil And so you're gonna put some ice in there as well if you desire but it's up to you

Blend that until it's really, really well mixed together You pour that into a cup and drink that for breakfast and it's delicious Bunless cheeseburgers are really easy to make Now, with beef patties you wanna push the inside of the beef patty down so that when you're cooking it, it doesn't become raw on the inside And you're gonna put some cheese on it when you flip it over

We're just gonna cut up some onions and a little bit of tomato as well And you've got a leaf of an iceberg lettuce Now, these are perfect because you just put all of the ingredients inside so you've got some mustard there You put the beef patty with the melted cheese on top and a little bit more mustard and some tomato and onion Wrap that all up and it seriously tastes like the best cheeseburger you've ever had

And if you're using good quality meat, this is really healthy for you (light music) Throw out the taco seasoning because tacos are basically a mix of paprika and cumin And if you get those two right, you can make mints taste really, really good Now, the trick with using iceberg lettuce is to cut it from the stalk like I did just then and then slice the end floppy bits off so you've got a really nice shell And you're just gonna spoon that mint into there, add some tomato and a little bit of shredded cheese and some sour cream in there and you have a perfect taco

(light music) Cobb salads are really delicious and all you need to do is cook up some bacon, also boil an egg and you're going to cut up some lettuce and put that into a bowl I'm using iceberg lettuce but you can use romaine lettuce if you like Some cherry tomatoes in there Using the bacon that you've previously cooked, push with the back of your knife, don't ever use the blade of your knife to get anything off a chopping board You wanna have some cheese in there

And you wanna cut the egg so it's nice and runny and that's a perfect Cobb salad that's really, really delicious Sesame beef coleslaw or otherwise known as crack slaw is basically just some mints, some coleslaw mix, some vinegar, some soy sauce, some sriracha sauce and a whole bunch of sesame seed oil And you're just going to cook all of that down until the coleslaw has become quite soft and you're gonna add some sesame seeds in there Eat it for dinner and store some for tomorrow's lunch as well It's a really delicious meal

(light music) Now, rib eye with Brussels sprouts is probably one of my favorite dinners You're just gonna cut up a whole bunch of Brussels sprouts, add some paprika and any kind of herbs you want in there with some olive oil And you're going to bake that for about 20 minutes in the oven and they come out super crispy So you're gonna have that with your rib eye steak And you just cook the rib eye steak exactly how I told you in the previous section of this video

Keto/Low Carb Healthy Meal Prep For the Week! – Mind Over Munch

You guys are the CHEESE knees! It’s always BUTTER when we’re together! Aw, you guys are BACON me blush We’re fat, but we’re the GOOD fat! Woah, bro

That’s an avoca-don’t! I was only yolk-ing… Ha ha ha ha ha Ahhhhh! Hey munchies! Welcome if you’re new, I’m Alyssia and today, after MANY requests, I am sharing my first keto meal prep, which is also paleo and of course low carb If you don’t know about a ketogenic lifestyle, I encourage you to check out the video I did a few weeks ago that breaks it down along with some other common diet lifestyles that we hear about these days If you are not specifically on a low carb lifestyle, you can still incorporate these recipes, remember, you can always modify and find inspiration, and that’s the goal here rather than specific meal plans PLUS, remember that we’re all different— different people need different amounts of fats, proteins and carbs whether they follow a ketogenic lifestyle or not, because everyone has a different carb tolerance so you will have to adjust as needed, but I wanted to share some fun low carb recipes since it is a hot topic and highly requested lately

For breakfast, I’m making some bacon cheddar egg cups First I cook up some nitrate free bacon—enjoy the smell and listen to that sizz! Give that a chop, and then whisk together some eggs, almond milk, and salt and pep To the muffin tin, I add my toppings of choice, which are my mushrooms, tomatoes, zucchini, and chopped bacon Then I distribute the egg mixture into the compartments, about ¼ cup or a large ice cream scoop each, and top it off with cheese Bake until beginning to brown on top and set through

Enjoy immediately, or allow to cool and refrigerate, OR freeze! You can reheat these in the microwave, and they’re also tasty cold! Perfect for meal prepping and making more batches at a time for later You can enjoy one or two of these with a “bulletproof” coffee, or skip the coffee and enjoy a few extra! It is up to you! For lunch, I’m making a beef and broccoli bowl with cauliflower rice Start with your fat of choice: coconut oil, grass fed butter, or ghee! Ghee is clarified butter without any lactose or casein so it’s great for people who are sensitive to those, and it’s also nutritionally rich like coconut oil It has a deep, rich and nutty flavor I add garlic and ginger paste to the melted ghee and allow that to become fragrant, before adding my beef

I cook that through, and then add in my veggies: cauliflower rice and broccoli florets Once the broccoli is bright and vibrant, and cooked to your liking, add your sauce ingredients: coconut aminos or soy sauce, sesame oil, salt & pep, and red pepper flakes for a kick, if you want it Coat completely and season to taste You can stop here and refrigerate or freeze, so it’s another great bulk recipe, but when you’re ready to serve, I like to top it off with sliced avocado, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions! If you’re on a low carb diet and missing rice, cauliflower rice is a GREAT mental trick and you won’t even miss the rice in this bowl It’s delicious and nutritious! Thumbs up for substitutions! For dinner, I’ll need some mayonnaise for my dish

There are different approaches to a high fat diet—some people just go by macros, but I think of a ketogenic diet as a WHOLE FOODS diet A lot of the oils used in mayonnaise can be inflammatory and processed, so I’m making my own olive oil based mayo In a deep measuring cup I add egg yolks, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, olive oil (a lighter olive oil, NOT extra virgin) and sprinkle with salt and pep Allow to sit for a minute or two and settle, and then begin pulsing with an immersion blender on a low setting Continue to pulse until it starts to become thick and creamy at the bottom, and then allow the blender to follow the measuring cup up and down to emulsify and integrate completely

Place in a jar and store in the fridge for up to a week! This mayo is really a great option for anyone wanting a cleaner mayonnaise, whether you follow a keto lifestyle or not If you’re enjoying these recipes and tips, be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss any content! Well, first I’m going to turn this into a WASABI mayo by whisking in some wasabi paste This is optional but adds a lot of flavor, and then I’m going to coat a piece of wild caught salmon for dinner in the mayo I add that salmon piece to a panini press and cook through to my liking! That wasabi mayo adds SO much flavor! The beauty of this meal is it’s a fresh cooked meal every day You can keep your salmon in the fridge or freezer if you’re worried that it won’t last, because usually fish only makes it a few days in the fridge, just thaw it out the night before using in the fridge

You already have your mayo ready to go so it’s super easy I like to serve that with a side salad so I’m jarring up some of my favorite greens, as well as some tomatoes, and sliced mushrooms This way it’s all ready to go each night I’ve also made a zesty cilantro lime dressing to top it off I simply add jalapeño, seeded if you don’t want it spicy, garlic, lime juice, cilantro, olive oil, and salt to a blender and let it rip until it’s smooth

You could also add avocado to this dressing, but it may not make it the whole week in the fridge It’s so flavorful and makes a boring salad fun I top the salad off with avocado and some of my favorite EVER Trader Joe’s Everything but the bagel seasoning (this is NOT sponsored!) and I serve that with my salmon for a delicious dinner with a great ratio of fat, protein and carbs for a ketogenic lifestyle, or just a healthy whole foods meal in general! As snacks for the week, I portion out my favorite nuts, which are macadamia, pecans and PILI nuts! If you’ve never heard of Pili nuts, they are one of the most keto-friendly nuts because they have the highest oil content and lowest carbs of any nut! Only 1 gram of carbohydrates and it’s fiber, and 24 grams of fat per serving They are a great source of magnesium, vitamin B1 and manganese They are significantly more expensive than any other nut, so I don’t buy them regularly, but it’s a pretty neat keto-friendly food that I wanted to share with you guys

I also make sure to have some olives, full fat cheese, and lower carbohydrate fruits like berries on hand for snacks One beautiful thing about a ketogenic diet is you don’t really get cravings and you are generally full—BUT we are human and sometimes we just FEEL like eating a sweet treat, so for that, we can make fat bombs! These are my maple nut fudgy fat bombs First I make a nut butter with macadamia nuts, pecans, cinnamon, and maple extract in a food processor This is delicious on it’s own, but for the treat I’m melting that down over the stove with coconut oil and erythritol Coconut oil has TONS of nutritional benefits as is, but the fact that coconut oil contains medium chain fatty acids (or MCTs) as opposed to LONG chain fatty acids means the fat is used as energy, rather than circulating in the bloodstream

Since the crux of a ketogenic diet is using FAT as fuel instead of CARBOHYDRATES, coconut oil obviously becomes a principal ingredient for the lifestyle, because of those MCTs I can then divide that mixture into mini muffin cups lined with silicone liners, and top them off with chopped pecans and macadamia nuts Freeze until firm and you have those ready to go when your human craving or desire hits! I keep them in the freezer And that is my a ketogenic and paleo friendly meal prep for the week! Keto Brick is a product, the brainchild of Mr Robert Sikes, aka Keto Savage and his fiancee, Crystal Love You can see their Instagrams right over here Super-cool guy He's a bodybuilder in Arkansas — they both are

Both bodybuilders in Arkansas And the story of Keto Brick, as I understand it, is that Robert made one for himself one day, to just bring to the gym, because he wanted something that had a lot of calories, and had perfect keto macros And some eagle-eyed viewer on one of his vlogs saw it, and said, "Hey, what is that?", and he replied, "It's something I made for myself It's got a thousand calories It's got really good keto macros

" And the person said, "Ooh, can I get one?" And so a little light bulb went off, and he started he and Crystal started making these available for people to purchase, and they have become incredibly popular within our little keto community It's so tough to get your hands on one of these

Now Robert and Crystal have been pumping out run after run of Keto Brick, as many as they can possibly make, usually working into the wee hours of the evening Mixing and creating and molding these bricks, and they sell out in a matter of minutes when they become available So for the last three months, I've been on an email list that says, "Hey Keto Bricks are available" And by the time I get to the store, they're gone This last run in June, I was convinced that I was going to score myself a Keto Brick

Then there's MCT powder (which contains MCT oil and achacha fiber), golden flaxseed meal, raw organic fermented cacao nibs, ground coffee beans, and Himalayan salt Manufactured at Little Rock Arkansas So there's your macros There's your nutrition information Touted as shelf-stable

And Robert sent out a warning when this latest batch went out, saying, you know, "These may be sitting in mail trucks, in 100-degree heat There's a small chance you could receive a Keto Blob instead of a Keto Brick But pop it in the fridge and it will be just as fine It may lose its shape a little bit, but it'll be just as delicious and nutritious" So I believe mine to still be in brick shape

I can sort of feel it through the through the wrapper here, a little bit But yeah, perfect keto macros: 81

KETO MEAL PREP FOR WEIGHT LOSS | LOW CARB MEALS | KEILA KETO

it is the new year which means you're trying to get back on our swing if you enjoyed the holidays like me it you want to get back with a bang so I have a Mill prep for you guys that is it is a little bit more time-consuming but they are great meals that feed an army now if you guys do like milk prep videos let me know by giving me a thumbs up and commenting the other meals that you want me to try to put in my mail prep all right let's go ahead and get into it this first recipe is zucchini tater tots now this was a side to go with my bacon and eggs that I didn't show here I do have a full recipe on this as a separate video so I will leave that in the description box below the only modification that I did make was I added jalapenos and it was definitely a great addition to this I also did a double batch this was so I could store half of them in the freezer which it froze beautifully I just reheated them in the skillet with a little bit of avocado oil the next smell is the chicken thighs with a feta spinach cream sauce honestly I just made the sauce up and it turned out amazing so I had to share it with you guys I just have some boneless skinless chicken breasts that I washed and seasoned with some salt and pepper the sauce is super easy I literally just made it up on the spot it's about a tablespoon of butter with a little bit of garlic and a whole bag of spinach I let the spinach wilt in the butter for about a minute or two and then I added some cream I used about 1/4 of a cup I added the drippings of the chicken you can also use about a cup of chicken broth if you decide to make this sauce spit out the chicken and then I just kind of added some cheeses that I had on hand I about 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese a couple tablespoons of Parmesan cheese and the star of the show betta actually forgot to put it in the actual sauce so I ended up just breaking up about a half of a block of the feta cheese and mixed it all around now you can totally make this super easy on yourself and just add the feta cheese in with the cream sauce while it's simmering and I highly advise that but you know it this way works just as fine and it tastes it just as good I placed this in the oven for probably thirty minutes at 375 give or take the chickens already fully cooked at this point you're basically just warming up the sauce and I have that with a side of cauliflower rice I've been obsessed with cauliflower rice lately because I do like having a lot of bulk so that way I feel fuller for longer and cauliflower rice does that I'm using about one to two tablespoons of avocado oil you can honestly use any oil that you have but I love avocado oil as you know and I'm seizing this with a little bit of salt and pepper since the chicken does have a great sauce you really don't need too much seasoning to the cauliflower rice but as always you can use whatever seasonings that you have on hand and fit it to your taste buds this cauliflower rice took no time to cook I had it on 400 degrees for about 10 minutes I stirred it after seven minutes and then I kept an eye on it for the next couple of minutes until it just slightly toasted now guys this honestly took me like a day and a half to film because I ended up filming all the way up into when I had work so I had to put everything in the fridge so I'm actually plating the chicken it's been in the fridge and I think it was easier you know portioning out the sauce and stuff so I'm not even mad I actually ended up having this for a lunch so this actually made five servings but I only showed four now you want to make sure that you let cool before you put them back to the fridge next this one honestly has been in my head for a while so I'll have to Annette finally it's showing you guys it is a low-carb lasagna what we're placing what the pasta is zucchini and a lot of people actually use like a mandolin to slice it very thin I actually don't have it so I decided to grate it as if I was going to be making zucchini tots actually preferred doing it this way because it took out a lot more water than just slicing it thin with the mandolin I'm just adding salt to draw out the moisture I do want to note that I used four zucchinis for this and I feel like it was honestly way too much I think three would have definitely been more than enough and this fed an army it was good for a beep seven or eight servings and I ended up portioning out about five servings for my meal plan and then I gave some to my sister and we still had leftovers it was like never ending so this is perfect if you have a family that you want to feed and if they're not Quito they can easily have this with a side of garlic bread and a side salad this original meat sauce recipe was from food wishes I will leave their link down below but I did a little bit of altercation just so that way it could be a little lower in carbs I omitted the wine as well as the milk that they used and replaced the milk with heavy whipping cream now this meat sauce actually makes double what you would need for this recipe so I usually just make a huge batch and then freeze half of it having this meat sauce in the freezer honestly is a lifesaver because it's a quick meal that you don't have to worry about cooking I'm just adding my seasonings of choice I like to season in stages so I usually do it want to have all the veggies sauteing and then I do it again once I add all the ingredients you I just have some lean ground beef and some hot Italian sausage you want to make sure you break up the meat as small as you can just that way it can simmer and just melt in your mouth you I'm adding tomato paste I used to add a full can of this tomato paste but since it's a little bit higher in carb I opted for only a couple of tablespoons I ended up doing three tablespoons here you only see two and then I realized that I needed a little more to get the kind of color that I wanted on the meat you I know this seems strange but adding a little bit of heavy whipping cream just adds a little bit more velvety luxurious to the sauce I don't know how how else to explain it but if you go to food wishes recipe he does a really great way of explaining it and has some great tips on making meat sauces so I highly advise I've been making his meat sauce for the past four or five years now I just have a can of tomatoes this is unsalted so definitely make sure you add some seasoning if you get the unsalted version I'm just mixing this all in so everything can get combined and then you want to add a full can of water now this is going to be a meat sauce that simmers for hours if you don't have time for it to simmer for hours then I would only put in half the amount of water and that would speed up the process of the cup time this is after four hours of cooking I'm just making the ricotta mixture for the lasagna I'm just making in the ricotta mixture for the lasagna I'm reserving 1/2 of a cup of the ricotta because I'm going to be using that in a cookie recipe that you'll see in shortly I'm just adding one full egg and my seasoning is of choice please don't buy my night we're here in the shot honestly I had to do this early in the morning and I was not having it I was super over it yeah that was me but we pushed through because I wanted to get this video out for you guys I'm just layering all of the ingredients evenly next time I'm not gonna add that last layer of zucchini because I really don't think it needed it next year gonna take some foil and you just want to spray the top this is so that way the cheese doesn't stick to the top of the foil you're gonna place this in a 400-degree oven for about 40 minutes after about 20 to 30 minutes I took off the foil and continued to let it cook I wish I would have let the cheese brown but I was running late for work so I kind of had to just rush and I kind of had to just rush and get these clips for you guys I know this is gonna be hard but I would HIGHLY advise to let this sit for at least 10 to 15 minutes I actually wasn't able to let it sit that long because I was on a time crunch and I had to get to work so that's why it was hard to put in the actual containers but if you let it cool it should come out pretty easily I just paired this with a nice side salad of romaine lettuce cucumbers and tomatoes I also decided to try keto connects cookies I'm so sad I didn't end up getting another clip of the fun and finished product but if you head over to my Instagram I actually did snap a picture over there so you can see how amazing they look over there honestly this is such a good replacement toward traditional cookies it tasted amazing super soft and it reminded me of real cookies I know I'll definitely make sure to recipes is amazing now this month no problem is a little bit higher in dairy but honestly the new year it's going to be hard to get on so I wanted to create delicious milk so I know you can stick with
