Whether you’re just looking for a healthier pizza recipe or wanting to adopt a keto lifestyle, this chicken bacon artichoke pizza knocks it out of the park!
Kiana Fonua Williams from the Instagram account: @keto_ki joined us in the kitchen after cooking all hours of the night to prepare for this segment! She shared her keto knowledge with us explaining that ketogenic or ‘ketosis’ is the bodies metabolic state of using ketones as energy versus carbs and sugar or ‘glucose.’
All of Kiana’s recipes follow the keto guidelines, but a great tip she shared is that just because something says ‘keto-friendly,’ check your labels/ingredients because it may not be.
Chicken Bacon Artichoke Pizza
- 2 1/2 C shredded mozzarella
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 tsp xanthum gum
- 2-3 Tbsp baking powder
- Bacon bits
- Pre-cooked chicken shredded
- Low carb Alfredo sauce
- Shredded cheese of choice
