Boring old water
Yes, last and certainly not least is plain old water. It’s important to note that fibre is a two-way street: it can be used to get things moving if you’re constipated, and it can also harden things up if you’re finding that your poop is too runny. The key in both instances is to make sure you get an adequate amount of water, because fibre in the diet draws moisture from your bowel into your stool. If you drink two litres of water a day, and eat adequate fibre, your toilet stops will become quick, efficient and cleaner than ever.
