Sherri Shepherd Joins Ashley Graham in Swimwear Campaign After 25-Pound Keto Weight Loss – Bravo

You might know her as an actress and TV personality, but Sherri Shepherd has a brand new gig: Ladies and gentlemen, meet Sherri, the swimsuit model! The former cohost for The View appears alongside Ashley Graham in the new campaign for the model’s Swimsuits for All collection — and she’s flaunting a new body that was helped along by the Keto diet.

Shepherd has lost about 25 pounds on the low-carb, high-fat eating plan, and opened up about her commitment to the diet back in December. At that point, she had been following her new eating plan for about nine months, and though she was quick to gush about the perks of weight loss — including buckling her shoes “without sounding like I am having an asthma attack” — she also admitted that following a strict regime can be tough.

Though she used to consume nearly 70 packets of Splenda a day (it’s true!), the actress was then on her 280th day without sugar. “It’s hard if you go to a restaurant,” she said. “I look for things that are less than one gram of sugar. I don’t use the salad dressing from the restaurant. I use olive oil. I get a lot of steamed vegetables and protein.”

By February, Shepherd had this update to share: “I went off #sugar #coldturkey in Mar 2018 and starred #keto appx June/July 2018. My weight last year I believe was 189 (too tired to look for the scale pics) and now I go back and forth between 159-161lbs. My waistline was 47” and it is now 35” (Lord on my wishlist is 29” waist … 27” if you’re in a good mood.)”

Of casting her pal in her swimwear campaign, Graham wrote on Instagram: “Not only do I always have so much fun with @sherrieshepherd, but through out the years she has always been so warm and honest with me. Honesty is another level of respect and love that we all deserve!”
